Disclamer- Cosworth has never sat in either Recaro or Bride seats.

Having said that... in the Option magazine, you see that both seats are very comparable in price. (i.e. Bride Brix vs. Recaro SRD III) So, if you can get the Bride seats for a relative price, then I'm guessing it's about the same quality as Recaros.

Sorry for being not very informative, but it's something.

Disclaimer: Loc has been in both (Recaro SRD).

The Bride seat is VERY tight, race only. You better be a small/thin guy.

The Recaro, as snug as it is, is LOOSEY GOOSEY compared to the Bride.

My **** has touched both...
I think it is very important you buy the seat for its FIT and not its fashion.

I find the SPG fits me just right whearas the Bride Zeta II (correct me if I am wrong...the one similar to the SPG Recaro) fits rather snug. I am a toned 135lb 5'9 build...not huge by any measure and the Bride's were designed for the smaller build asian population.

I find it quite restrictive....I can only imagine what it would feel like if I was wearing a racesuit.

But my JDM buddy informs me that Bride is an excellent choice....but NAME wise, Recaro still rings loudest...particularly in Japan....at least that is what he has heard and what I hear from him!

where can someone go to to test out some seats...I mean, that's like buying a (used especially) car on the other side of the country and not driving it!

Obviously, it helps if you know people that have them...but I'm in the market for a set of seats (I really like the Recaros that match the OEM suede seats) but I want COMFORTABLE street use seats too! Also, I'm 6'3, 200 lbs, not a small frame

I would agree that the Bride Zeta II's are indeed on the snug side. I'm a scrawny 125lbs in a 5'11" frame and it fits me perfect. For most people, the Recaro SPG will do nicely.

Default Bride's website

http://www.bride-jp.com/

on their website you can see the various seats they offer... you should be able to get a rough idea of the fitment by looking at the bolsters and shape of the seat...

I don't buy Bride or Recaro coz they look better. I choose either one of them coz they provide more comfort, better position, better protection, save more weight.

I sat in a Bride Zeta before it's pretty TIGHT, maybe I have my thick jacket on. I am 5"5 and 118lbs. Didn't have a chance to sit in a RECARO SP-G yet. Really like to compare them again.

I had a Recaro SPG. I'm 5'6 165 lbs 31-32 waist. The seat was comfortable...good for track use, I don't recommend street because of the lack of padding. As for bigger **** people, the Recaro Poleposition is the same but wider and the contours are a bit more forgiving.
