rubbing the cat !!

rubbing ***** (cat)....
I just lowered my car and when ever I go to work the cat rubs on the speed bumbs. If I took out the cat and put in a test pipe I know I would clear it but Im afraid my car is going to sound funny.. Whos done it and how do you like the sound. Its a civic EX not a Trans AM I dont want it to gurgle.... And yes where i live there are no emmision tests....
