My alarm went off lastnight. When I went out to check my car, the hood was popped. How are they opening my hood? the doors are fine, the hood and grille too. It's a 2000 Civic coupe.

yea.. thats how they stole my corner lenses.. they opened the hood without even touching the door..

 

I'd recommend that you look into the routing of the hood release cable.

That said; I'd also recommend that you do a Google search on "honda hood release".

Yeah there popping it through the driver side fender...Check there...They can just be pulling the cable thru the grille with the fingers....They dont have rip it off or anything...Just stick the fingers in there and pull the cable

 

Someone once told me they stick there hand in the space between your wheel and fender and feel for the hood cable(driver side) and pull it down. Hood pops right open. Invest in a hood lock
