do you have a second car to drive? cause they takes times..
it's not that hard,
i use 3Ms panel bonds to "glue" the flairs to the fender, then screw them in for extra seurity, wait about a day for it to cure, then i get some fiberglass sheets, resin and hardener from a place that fix boat, cut a plastic bottle in half, mix resin and hardener in it, put on a glove, cut the fiberglass sheets long strips, and soak it in the resin, then "tape" along the line that you dont wanna see.. wait until it drys, then sand it down to smooth, and then bondo it, sand it again, primer, get it ready to paint...if you wanna mold it to your sideskirts to your flairs, just cut the fiberglass sheet in longer shape, then bridge it...understand?

hmm i don't have a second car.. not driveable while i'm doin this?? also this wouyld be my first step toward bodywork.. am i gonna be able to handle this?
it took me a year to finish my car, but that's from i bought the car, put it on the frame machine and pull the frame back to straight, wait for bodykits to come in( a long wait), work full time, wwait for inspection after i fixed the part that was wrecked..i dont even know how much time i spend on it, but it takes alotta trys, and also it's be very helpful if you have a friend that knows what he's doing to help you..take your time, also your car is gonne be driveable, just make sure it's bonded on well and strong..
i'm a rookie and still a rookie, but i always make As on my art class, i dont know if that helps..

You guys are all haters. You dont have respect for something that someone wants to do. I mean if this guy wants to jack it up and put monster truck tires on it why do you care? Will you be driving it? Will you have to deal with insurance? Do you have to deal with what other people think? No you dont. If he wants flares, or a widebody kit on his car then let him. Dont be dicks because you dont like the way it looks or what his ideas are. I personally dont like fender flares. Widebodys are ok IMO, nothing that I would do on a daily driver but if I wanted a Trailer Queen maybe I would think about doing it. Just because I dont want to do it doesnt mean that he shouldnt.
on going against the grain and doing what you want.

IMO, I'd only go wide body on a rwd or awd car where clearance problems between the suspesion and wider wheels forces the need for lower offsets. Like this..
If I were you, I'd go with a simple "enhanced" fender, just making it stick out a little more. If you wanna go big time show, do some thing like was posted above. If you are able to source metal flares, you could weld them and use fiberglass to smooth them out. If not, what was posted above is right on the money. Good luck
