there's a brace on two of the factory anchor bolts for each side that is located BEHIND the strut. so, if you have access to a dremel, you can cut the brace so you would be able to swing the upper control arm around so the upper control arm would be able to rest on top of your tire. if you don't have access to some sort of cutting tool, just remove the strut assembly so you would be able to swing the upper control arm around.
for my install, i tried to take that brace off the stock anchor bolts to mount it on the ingalls camber kit but, i had no luck on trying to make that thing budge.

Thats the problem im having, its with the brace. Is the brace suppose to just pop off normaly or what, it wont budge. Would it affect anything to cut it?
Are there anyother bolts that i have to take off besides the two 14mm ones at top of tower?

to my knowledge it won't effect anything. just cut it off. if not, take off the strut and spring assembly. besides the nuts on top of the shock tower, there are the nuts and bolts that bolts the factory anchor bolts to the upper control arm.
and for the link above, the skunk 2 camber kit and ingalls are two different types of camber kits. the skunk 2 is the entire upper control arm while the ingalls just replaces the anchor bolts to swing the factory upper control arm in and out.

I installed both sides of the camber kit today. Car feels too damn weird. It feels like there is no weight in the front of the car and steering is unbelievebly loose. The front tires get no traction at all. Tires look perpendicular to the ground. The only thing is that when i have one tire straight, the other is turned out just a little. Can someone tell me how to adjust this. Could this be the cause of the loose steering.
Could you give me directions on how to adjust toe in or to out, i want to somewhat try to adjust it because I cant take it to a pro alignment shop for another week until i get some $$$$
And should i expect a typical alignment shop to adjust camber and toe or do I have to do all the adjusting, Whats an estimate of how much $ it will cost?

That's for the Skunk2, not the Ingalls. Still a good writeup though.

take it to a tire shop and they will do all the adjustments for you....alignment usually is around $45-50 bucks.....
i wouldn't drive it too much with it out of line
