Does the d16z6 and the d16y8 share the same cam or are they different?

Does the d16z6 and the d16y8 share the same cam or are they different?
I have the option of putting in a y8 cam in my z6 head and I am wondering if it is worth it? Do they share the same specs?

different cam. if swapping one into the other head. you will need a cam gear. search the issue on dseries.org.

I know it can be done, but I want to know the benifits or even if its worth doing

I think the grind are the same...but TDC is like 3 degrees off from each other. Nothing to be gained by swapping...only do if the need be
