ok.. don't hate now.. but i'm stuff with a automatic over a accident, and i have a sedan, which i like. I really wanna get into autocross, building the car up now. I have some falken azenis, good susspension can it be done ?

 

You can autocross anything that'll pass tech... automatic sedans included... now, being compeditive will be another matter. If you're looking to get started and have fun, go for it.

 

There is a local autocrosser with an automatic 89? Jetta running in a Street Prepared class who regularly beats all kinds of supposedly faster cars. He's the textbook example of "its not what you drive but how well you drive it."

Yep, Bill Thomas drives his automatic late 80s Jetta reeeeallly fast locally. good example of what a past national champion can do in something that's not "fast".

B) The Kozlak's IROC-Z is automatic... it does however help to be able to drive like they do, and have the setup knowledge gained over the years of running that car I believe Lynne (sp?) 0wned F Stock this weekend.
