Default Shocks Question

I drive a '97 Del Sol SI and I just bougt a set of coilover sleeves. I plan on putting them on with a new set of shocks; I'm leaning towards Tokico HPs right now because my brother has them in his 240sx and loves them. I am wondering if they are just as effective in my application, and if anyone has any bad experiences with them or can suggest another brand. I know koni is superior, but I don't have that kind of cash.

Thanks!

someone said "shocks"!!!!! lol....at least somebody knows what they are

I don't have experience with Tokico's...but love my KYB's. I've used both GR2's and AGX's, both of which turned out very well with my applications. Right now I'm running GR2's in the rear and AGX's in the front(220 spent total on all shocks NEW)...and it rides very good with my drop. Handles great on the course, and is comfy for daily driving

You can't go wrong with koni yellows, but kyb agx's are a very good choice.

I have the KYB GR-2s with the maxspeed coilovers all around and it rides pretty good. I've been autocrossing with them for probably 8-10 months so far and they still give a smooth ride that's solid in the corners.

I have KYB AGXs and they rock. Great handling and ride isnt't TOOOO bouncy (I have both the fronts and rears set at 1). Great shock for the money.

I'm sportin KYB AGX's LOVE THEM!!! If you don't have the dough to dish out for Koni's then I would definately get the AGX's... cheaper yet can handle most any drop you throw at 'em.
