Help with KYb's! :(
Ok so I got to put on my Skunk2's/AGX's today...After 5 hours of rusted bolt madness we got to put everythin in.
When adjusting the height, the rear shocks/coils dropped just right...but the front shocks wouldnt budge. They stood at a high setting and wouldnt compress under the car's weight. We assembled the shocks the way theyre supposed to be according to the diagrams...But it wouldnt budge for some reason. Any clue as to what is preventing the shock from compressing?

It really depends on how low your car is lowered.
The metal or plastic sleeve is really jsut a dust cover for the shock. If you have your car SLAMMED and pancaked on some coilovers. You could cut the front bumpstops just a little bit so it doesn't bottom out.
I had skunk2 coils on my 97 Civic, my car was lowered all the way it could go, and then some with the help of a camber kit (yeah, I was a stunna). No problems at all with bottoming out.
But removing the metal sleeve will definatly help. If it still bottoms out. Cut the bump stop. Worse thing is you'll have to remove the shock 1 more time.
