Default F22b2 to H22a

hey guys, i own a honda accord 94 lx. Now i wanted to do a H22a swap on it but i had a few questions. For one, i have a non-vtec engine and the h22a is vtec, so i was wondering how exactly would i wire up my vtec sensors and stuff. And would all my computer harnesses plug right into the h22a motor computer or would i have to completly change the harniss?? if anyone has done this and kknows exactly how to do it, i would really be greatfull. Another thing is that i am making it a stick. So i was also wondering if anyone has the clutch pedal he/she could sell to me and all the other things i would need to achieve this. thanks you!

you dont have to get any conversion harnesses

you can wire the Vtec directy to the ECU, but a wiring kit from Radio Shack

^ correct. $3.99 50 ft. roll of 18AWG wire, $1.59 pack of solder tape strips, and $2.29 pack of shrink tubing. then all you need is a $0.79 cigarette lighter.

Yes your computer harness will plug right into an obd1 computer. Wiring for the vtec is exactly the same as doing a GSR into a 5th gen civic. Here's a webpage with the pinout diagrams. http://www.hybridgarage.com/tech/5gtech/index.html. As for converting your car to 5 speed, check your local junkyards. You'll come across a 5 speed accord eventually. I'm thinking you may need to change your computer harness too since yours is wired up for an automatic but then again, I've never done a 5 speed conversion so I could be wrong.

well ok that seems pretty easy, so basically all i have to do is make a sub harniss and add a few wires to my xisting plugs??? which would plug right into the vtec computer

as for the standard trany, can anyone tell me whats involved in doing that? do i have to change the entire harniss for the tranny or would i use the same harniss for the sensors on the stick and leave the other ones that the m/t does not need?
