Default Help me on a set of stickies!!

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/...00_=4

Ok I am hopefully about to come upon a set of fat 5 wheels for my car. They have Bridgestone Potenza so-3's but the owner wants to keep the tires for another set of wheels he has, so therefore I have to get some tires. I know that there are much better performance tires out there, but I don't have that kind of money, nor do I drive easy on my tires. So I need to get a set of tires that won't put me over 200 bucks, or less.
Is 205/50 series wide enough?
Has 215/50 fit on anyone's car on here without rubbin much?

BTW my car is soon to be lowered on h n r race springs 2.25 f/ 2 in back...
thanks for the suggestions/help/...

another thing... the sumitomo's are on my car at the moment, but in 205/13 inch form, so theyre pretty good. They aren't the greatest on tread life, but I think that is becuase of my right foot.

a set of tires for 200 or less?

you can't even get a set of azenis's for that..

decent street tires are 65-75 a tire.. drag radials (jack for treadwear) are 100-140. Azenis's, around town favorites are 72 a tire.. shop around.. im sure you'll find something.. but your low bucking it.

Azenis from Falcon. I am running these in 205-50-R15's on my rex and I love them. You won't meet the $200 mark, but I think I got mine for $72 each so you are not that far off.

205-50-15 khumos on my 4 door. 205 is wide enough 215 will be too wide. make sure you get a camber kit so the whole 205 makes contact with the ground. i got all for for 250 i think from tirerack
