how to jack up lowered car?
put some two by four slats of wood on the ground and drive up onto them. you should be able to fit the jack under the car after that.. or use the stock jack to get the car up and then slide in your larger jack. wood is easier though.
What I do is use the spare tire jack to slightly raise one area of the car, say the left side, and then take my big rolling floor jack and use it to jack up the front. Or you can use the tire jack to raise the front enough so that you can use your rolling jack to jack up the side.
Of course this requires you have 2 jacks, but it doesn't take much extra time... like and extra 30 sec to do it this way?
