My trans is screwed and i might need a new one, where is a good place to buy one new or used? I'd rather have a jdm with the lsd, but anything for a good price will do. where are some good places to look?

There is a guy from Il. in the Classified section that is selling a LSD H22 tranny for $1050. Do a search. Seems like he is a motivated seller.

 

what do you guys think about getting a tranny rebuilt instead of replacing it? how much does a good rebuild cost?

 

I've got an h23 tranny that i'll sell you for 250 plus shipping.

where were all you guys when i was selling mine? I ended up selling for 100 because nobody wanted it

Are you serious?? I am in a similar boat. I have a spare H23 tranny. I am keeping one as a spare because if the one in my car breaks...I can throw the spare in with the least amount of down time and I know the history behind the tranny.

For $100...I would have just kept it. I had a guy offering me $350 for mine. I still didn't think it was worth it. I sold my H23 ECU for more than $100

Oh well.

I needed to clean out my garage, it was starting to look like a swap meet in there.

Where'd you sell your H23 ECU at? I've been trying to sell mine for about a year now with no luck!!

 

you can sell anything no ebay but anyway, anyone have any other ideas/places as to where i can get a tranny? im looking for an h22 tranny not an h23..

 

ther's a place here in DE that got a few....... CRESS auto salvage in newport..... kinda pricey thou...... had to dump 650 for one with 50K on it...but i really need one so screw me
