Default Which road to take ........?

Just looking for simple input on what direction to take my car in.
I have a 98 civic HB with a 00 C5. Very minor mods: clutch, aem cai, test pipe, full exhaust, jdm ecu.
I have been reading alot about Boosted ITR motors and the numbers are crazy. Been thinking about that, but i have a boosted crx to beat on already, and a toyota P/U for a daily driver.
My goal to get outta the C5 is a fast, reliable fun car. Either its FI or keep it NA.
just kinda looking for input and what are SPECIFIC good mods to the itr to get more NA power ? What are mods i can get without busting my already low bank ?
with the mods i have what should be next ? Looking to get at least high/mid 13's NA.
thanks for input

As someone else already stated, you should be able to run 13s as is.

Practice your driving and you'll reach your goal.

well the thing i should have also stated was that i havn't yet to run the 1/4 mile
I have been SO busy getting the boosted crx done and on the road, i have 3 kids, yes 3 and a wife so that takes alot of time i am planning on running soon.

as for the turbo kit i can build a custom kit for about 800$ (MINUS a standalone).

kinda a OT question: does anyone here has the jdm itr ecu ? there is now way to mess with a OBD2 ecu correct ? reason i ask is cause my C5 is all stock sept for the parts mensioned above, that i know of, bought it used. Well i rev all the way to 9,100 before it kicks me down. Missed 3rd once and found that out, so i tryed it again to see if i was correct, it pulls and pulls there no end. is my tach that far off or what ? i know, i know i shouldn't be doing that, sure is fun though

btw, if you could boost a B18C5 reliably for $800, you should REALLY look into that

scrap the AEM for the J's? what the..
i've had both and the AEM CAI is better IMO

and my girlfriends brother now has my old J's and i take his car out all day

i dont think hondata is needed for him right now as he has bolt ons, a simple v-afc or something will work fine.

there is a way to mess with obd2 programming, but only a limited amount of shops in japan do it. i believe honda put a patent on their programming and has only released the rights to adjust it to one company.

well thank for help guys. I think i will keep it NA for now without buying anymore NA parts and just keep buying more FI parts, when i get the kit complete i'll either sell it nad use the money for na parts, or just turbo the bitch. I already have the turbo its a garett T3 .60/.63, anyway i'll keep you all posted.

My reason for this statement is a conversation with sgT the other day in which he tested (dyno'd) the AEM CAI, a stock intake, and the J's off of Warren's car (on my old/stock 125K + ITR motor).

The CAI had the well known bump ~ 4400 rpm, but didn't do well at the top of the rev/power range.
The stock intake produced a few more hp at peak, and dropped off less dramatically than the AEM at 8K+.
With Warren's J's intake my old motor kept pulling and had more peak power at 8K+ rpm and that old motor produced ~185 hp at the wheels. Ed</TD></TR></TABLE>

i just saw that post, i stand corrected
steve said it best about the butt dyno meaning ****
