Can you use different make ballasts with different bulbs?
I maybe getting some Hella ballasts, but can I use another company's bulbs? I don't see why not, but I want to make sure...

As long as the wires hook up, shouldn't be a problem.

 

Thanks, ya I'm assuming the ballasts are generic, its just the bulbs and wiring that are different, so it shouldn't matter what bulbs the last person used...

 

It depends on the connector & the bulb. Some bulbs are the snap-ins like the OEM ones and others have rebased buls that has two connectors extended. Most Philips ballasts have same type of connectors that go in but with other ballasts it will be different. Make sure you check...not all fits.
