this is for my 94 si h23a1 lude!

help^ my lude is makin a knockin soungs at 3500 rpms, an when i put in first gear with the clutch all the way end an i rev the car to about 3500 it , the car starts to jump, i put a new cluch in it, an its still maken that sound,i pulled the oil pan there way copper shaveing in ther? looked pulled on stuff nothing is is lose! i changed the rod berings an still knockin someone help me save this LUDE!

 

how many miles on the car? If its not the piston bearings, it could be a main bearing or it could even be a busted oil pump. I had a freind that had a strange noise and we thought it was the bearings but the stock oil pump had busted.

 

188 thow miles on the lude we pulled it all oil pan down put all new rod berings in prelude i did not see any thing lose! heLP{

the H23 such you will be beter off with a H22 with a H23 none v-tech head
