Crankshaft Speed Fluctuation (CFK) sensor.

thanks buddy.

But what does it mean?? My car spudders at 4000-5000 rpm.. it sounds like it's not going.. but once it makes it above the 4000-5000rpm.. it's okay again.

This is what it says in the Helms:

The diagnostic system has a pulser rotor on the crankshaft and a pulse pick-up sensor on the engine block. The ECM monitors the crankshaft speed fluctuation based on the CKF sensor signal, and judges that an engine misfire occurred if the fluctuation goes beyond a predetermined limit.

ahh.. ok. gotcha.

I hooked up the P72 OBD2 ECU to a 99 honda prelude. Just wondering what the effects would be. Ran it down the street.. CEL came on.. came back home.

check the conector first make sure it didn't come loose. Im not sure where it is on your engine but on my b18b1 it is right behind the crank pulley
