who is running fi and spray ....
well im out of injector duty cycle im at 80% now on my 1982 vw rabbit turbo ..now ive started to spray it im running an indedependant fuel system for the nos settup but only sraying a 50 shot ...for now i run c16 race gas and i am currently running the coldest plug i can get ....at full boost im running 26 deg of total timing (about 22-24 lbs of boost ) heres wher my ??? begin i ran the seperate fuel system #1 to lighten the load on my origional fuel pump and to regulate the fuel pressure at a constant 45lbs (the turbo = rising rate fpr more fuel more boost more rich nos settup)
and started with the 50 shot and pulled 5 degrees of timing .....
what kind of retard should i be running on a forced induction nos settup is it still 2 degrees for 50 hp or does the fi change every thing ....ive sprayed a ton of my cars just never ontop of fi ,,,..?????
where should i go from here a little imput would be nice thanxs allen

You sure its a good idea not to have the regulator reading boost and rising 1 to 1.At 20-25ps boosti,it'll be like running the nos system on 20psi fuel

i ran the seperate press reg so i can tune the nos system with some reliability (as well as a bottle warmer ) my qestion is more along the lines of what guidlines can i go by for setting my timing while using forced induction ,,??can i still use the 2 degrees per 50 hp of nos or does it change for fi??
I'd say you still use 2 dergree per 50hp.....but you know who you should ask--->Zex Man(on this board) he's running hi boost and nos,I think this year he is even using two stages on juice.
I use up to 175hp shot of nitrous on top of my 22 psi of boost, and I retard 2 deg. of timing for every 50hp worth of nitrous in addition to the normal amount I pull out for boost. Pulling out timing will never kill a motor....too much will. Always go conservative on the timing.

Yes, I forgot to mention that. You will reduce fuel enrichment on the nitrous side if you do not reference your regulator to boost pressure.

nice so ill start off slow with the 50 shot pull 4 degrees of timing and work up from there....but your saying to reference the fuel seloniod with a rising rate?? i figured this would cause a rich condition adding 25 lbs of fuel pressure on an nos jet matched to 45 lbs of fuel ???
i also run sds so adjusting timing is easy i just wanted to hear from someone that has been there...my car went 11.55@122 on 23 lbs of boost earlier this year i want to spray into the 10's this summer..
thanxs for any and all input..

oh and i run 45 lbs of fuel pressure at idle with no vaccume that is the fuel pressure i assumed i was jetting for??if i added 25 lbs of pressure on top of that wouldnt it run rich???
If your boosting 25psi to add the 25psi of fuel,No..it will not make it over rich.If you didnt add that fuel. The 25psi of boost your nos nozzles are trying to inject into will operate like it has 20psi of fuel behind them...leaning them out.
