Intake Manifold
Hey everyone i am interested in one of those intake manifolds with the 40mm individual throttle bodies, you know the one with a throttle body for each cylinder, but i forget the name of them and does anyone know how they run with an LSVTEC setup? (b18b1 block + B16 head + P72 ECU) what all would i need to run this thing and be able to see massive gains... say ive got about 2,000 to play with

There called Individual Throttle Bodies. You need a custom fuel managment system, or at least be able to rig the map sensor and all other sensors to work. Due to their physical shape/make-up they make more power at higher RPM's. They can and most likely will cause you to lose some power at low (<4000 RPM), you know the stuff you actually drive around with. They usually start at about $2500 for just ITB assembly. Other than looking cool and sounding loud as fawk, they are not a good idea on a mild street engine.
They are basically for the Engine that has everything else.
