Default tranny fluid leaking out where axle goes in

why would i be leaking tranny oil out of the hole where my passenger side axle is. could it be the tranny seal because it was chewed up from the axle moving around too much in there from not having a set ring? and why when i puch in the clutch sometimes or am running through the R's i hear a whining noise? i hate cars lol.

just a guess but it could be cuz the tranny is over-filled.

ya...well...i filed it up about a yr ago, took it off and spilled some when putting a new clutch in and never refilled the little bit that drained out. so NO, overfilling it has not a damn thing in the world to do with it. i love how the actual questions i ask never, ever are the ones to get answered.

No, just take out the axle ot replace it. Put a clip on it while you have it out.
