tranny fluid leaking out where axle goes in
why would i be leaking tranny oil out of the hole where my passenger side axle is. could it be the tranny seal because it was chewed up from the axle moving around too much in there from not having a set ring? and why when i puch in the clutch sometimes or am running through the R's i hear a whining noise? i hate cars lol.
ya...well...i filed it up about a yr ago, took it off and spilled some when putting a new clutch in and never refilled the little bit that drained out. so NO, overfilling it has not a damn thing in the world to do with it. i love how the actual questions i ask never, ever are the ones to get answered.
ya..i talked to a guy at a honda dealer and he said because the set ring wasnt in toi hold the axle from moving, it might have chewed it up pretty good. how do u change the seal neways? do u have to take off the bell housing or what? thanks

No, just take out the axle ot replace it. Put a clip on it while you have it out.

you couldn't figure out it was the seal.. (only frigging option besides overfilling the tranny) and I'm the dumbass... rigghhhhtt.
