Default Exhaust Questions....I SEARCHED

I am looking for a cat-back system for my 01 base. From what I've read, the Apexi N1 gets the nods around here. But when I looked at the spec sheet from Apexi, the N1 exhaust piping has the same diameter as their WS (World Sport) system. The only differences on paper are the diameters for the tip and prices. I am leaning toward the WS because I don't want a very loud exhaust. So, my questions:

1. What are the REAL differences between N1 and WS?

2. How does the Greddy SP (street performance) compare to WS?

3. What are other alternatives to Apexi WS and Greddy SP that aren't too loud?

BTW, I know Mugen is pretty good, nice and quiet, but I can't afford it. So, try to keep it in the $500 range.

N1 would have better high end because of it's straight thru design

So, how's the Greddy EVO compared to the N1, WS or Greddy's own SP? Is it loud? I don't want anything that would be heard throughout the neighborhood and in the mean while have some benefit to the overall performance. GOD! Maybe I should save enough $$$ and just get a Mugen.

My biggest concern about the N1 is seeing that so many people end up selling theirs for another exhaust.

I decided to go with the Thermal R&D.

N1 seems like a good exhaust from a performance stand point...not for everyday driving.
