P28's don't look for a knock sensor, but to answer your question you'd want to use a 10.9 mm drill bit to first open up the hole a bit, then use a 12mm x 1.25mm thread pitch tap to thread the hole for the knock sensor Make sure to take your time and use alot of lubricant (I just use oil) when tapping a hole.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by RedlinedVTEC &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">P28's don't look for a knock sensor, but to answer your question you'd want to use a 10.9 mm drill bit to first open up the hole a bit, then use a 12mm x 1.25mm thread pitch tap to thread the hole for the knock sensor Make sure to take your time and use alot of lubricant (I just use oil) when tapping a hole.</TD></TR></TABLE>

or you could take a 17mm head nut (from mount, etc) and have someone WELD it to the head of a 14mm bolt. then just screw the knock sensor into the inner hole on the upper alt mount like shown above. No drilling or tapping needed. EASY FIX
