The key is to find a median between popping the clutch and easing it out.. if you make lots of power and ease it.. you'll glaze it in a hurry.. If you pop it you are just asking for broke ****. Every car is different. If you are making good power try to launch it just about 500rpms over where boost hits the hardest.. you may have to feather it slightly to avoid the "bog" you have to hit that razor's edge... if you give it to much of a shock to the drivetrain you will either break or spin.
Practice..
Practice..

This is some info i got from a rep from M&H tires:
1)Start at 14psi and work your way down to find the best psi for your setup.
2)A tip on clutch pedal release , when you are in the staging lights release the clutch pedal real slow until you feel the clutch just starting to grab, that's where you want to release the clutch, that way
it is not so violent on the axles and clutch.
3)It takes time to set the car up so don't get discourage, write everything down that night like what you did,how you did it and so on. Make sure if the track temp is below 69 warm up the slicks, and when you make that burn out count up to 6 that way you know the slicks are good and hot.
4)When you make a run down the track, always let the slicks cool down in between runs that way you can get a good reading on air pressure. When you make a pass, the slicks get HOT and what happens is the air pressure builds up about 4 to 5 pounds. So if you have about 10-cars in front of you before your up, that's the time to check the air pressure.

sounds like the guy at M&H is a moron. try and get the slicks hot??? come on, u dont want them hot cause they turn greasy. also i have never seen an import slick gain 4-5 psi from a burnout. more like 2 psi. and lastly if ur scared of breaking **** u should b on slicks. easing the clutch out till it starts to grab b4 a launchis crap. refer back to "breaking ****".
I have my better 60 fts. at around 12 psi (22x8x15).
5 second burn out. Hold the clutch halfway out almost till it starts to engage and be smooth with the release when the light drops.
It a balancing act.

Turbo E??? what are ya doing? We are there at the track to help and he goes behind our backs to seek out help??? That hurts.
Just do what littlevtec does. Warm them up. 11-12 psi pressure and 6500-7000 launch.
We'll push ya if you break
And then tomorrow you can update your sig with a 12 sec. time!!!
