Default TZ250

With all the recent work on my bosses 01 TZ, 86 TZ350 and 89 TZ followed by a race meeting last weekend I have got the bug back for riding. Looking at a TZ250D with a bunch of 94/95/96 parts for flavour.

I am in the US next month and am wondering if anyone you know has anything decent off of a TZ250 to sell?? I am desperate for a set of Marchesini wheels with or without tyres.

The date is set for this weekend, so I will post pics then.

Your in jolly old england and your asking us for two stroke parts???? QB carbon might help you out... over here you might want to try

http://www.gpstar.net/

They carry a small assorment of parts and can get almost anything. If you go to any of the local events there is quite a bit of spares running around

gpstar are cool, nice web and I wouldn't mind bidding on the V-500 Honda. But it is a nightmare trying to get decent TZ wheels at the mo.

OK, here is my new toy. Igmore the Subaru colours I will sort that later. This was as the bike came to me....

...and here we are 20 mins later

All in all it's not bad. A few marks on the barrels and one of the heads has some detonation but for the money its good. Everything is right. Spondon frame, alloy clip-ons, 96 ignition, 94 heads/barrels.

I will post the dyno run when I have it. Right now it needs small ends, pins, clips and more squish before it goes anywhere. Happy days

That's as I got it. The swingarm is Spondon along with the frame. Havung trouble finding the exact year of the frame, hoping for a 96.

Spares arrive tom so it will be running again

Nice bike. I'll ask my cousin. He has a 250 TZ track bike. His next race is in Loudon, New Hampshire June 7th.

It's an aftermarket frame maker like Rickman, and bimota used to be... They sometimes have an added benefit of being more adjustible or stiffer. you know engineers... they love to change things

I think that 92/93 Yamahe still didnt have the best. In 97 they made a howler of a frame then went back to the 96. Maybe a previous owner binned it and the Spondon was cheaper, maybe someone prefered the 'feel'.

Either way it's my gain
