Im runnin a JRSC on my 00 si, 8psi, 223hp at wheels right now, thinking of getting ZEX kit and running a 55 shot... any warnings?

 

I dont know much about B16s, but I'd be kinda scared to push my stock internals over 220whp.

 

remember that when boosting it basically makes doubles your shot of nos, so that 55 shot is closer to a 100 shot with boost.

i dont know about a 55 shot, but i had a friend that ran a like a 40 shot when he was at the track with his JRSC @ 8spi. he ran a 12.9 on it and never had any problems

 

is there any way to run like a 10 shot?

 

yes there is a way to run a small shot but not with the zex kit. NOS brand makes pill sizes all the way down to a 9HP shot. you can pick up a sneaky pete kit and use a 10-25 hp shot before the blower for really good gains. also you will need to retard timing because you will actuall see 20-50WHP gain and this is really going to tax the engine. email me for more info if you need it!!
