OT: will these feeler gauges work for Valve adjustments?
Description link
Im pretty sure the sizes are ok(only need .006-.008), but im not sure if the gauge itself is not long enough. and I also thought they were supposed to have a bend at the end. I searched around but didnt really find what I was lookin for.
I got a nice cheap set at NAPA. bend on the end and long enough. Cost about 5 bucks. few extra bucks for

Yeah you definitely want the bent ones. It is because the cam/rocker arm interface is a little deeper in the head than usual. The walls of the head are too high to effectively slide the feel guage in without bending it. Having it bend on you will make sliding it back and forth awkward because of the induced drag.
BUYER BEWARE: snap on has them on the site for like $11.10, but when I called to order them, they came up over $30...F that S. They are gonna look into the price conflict. However, Sears has cheaper ones anyway so Im gonna hit up Sears.
