clutch pedal lost pressure.. help get it back?
when i did my swap, and replaced the slave, It took forever to bleed the clutch. Get a friend to help you or it will take forever. I ended up calling my girlfriend to come over to to pump the clutch because i couldn't find anyone else at 2 in the morning.
When you are pumping the clutch make sure to keep a eye on the reservoir because after like 6-7 pumps of the pedal it runs out and you get more air in the system.
Also go buy some small rubber tubing to place on the end of the slave valve and place the other end in a cup or bottle of fluid so that when you are pumping out the air it doesn't suck more are in while your trying to tighten the nut and so you don't get all that fluid all over your driveway.
After figuring that out it took me about 1 bottle of fluid, 6 times of pumping the clutch 6-8 times before i got all the air out.
Good luck

am still not getting any pressure. i bleed it, refill the resevoir, even started the engine but nodda. i can't even pump the pedal cause it just falls to the floor and i have to pick it back up. the only way to pump anything is by using my hand to push the clutch release fork at the slave cylinder. when i bleed it that way the air and fluid comes out but slowly. btw, the fork is always being pushed out as though the pedal is depressed all the time but it's not (seems kinda odd since there are no pressure?). anyways, thanks for all the tips.. if you got any more let me know. also, is there a mechanic forum someone can direct me to? thanks!

yeah i did that. since it always gets sucked to the floor i use both feet to pull it back out
then i do it over and over while the engine is still on. i'll try again tomorrow morning (it's getting way too hot here). thanks again.

loosen bleeder, push clutch pedal, tighten bleeder, pull clutch pedal, loosen bleeder, push clutch pedal, tighten bleeder, pull clutch pedal... 10-15 reps and you should be good to go, just make sure you keep an eye on the fluid level and refill it every coupla reps. (and use your hand, its easier than your feet) With you pushing/pulling and a friend loosening/tightening it shouldn't take more than 5 minutes.
