dood, all the tegs/civics/even dsms ran in the 15s (mostly) and a couple hit the mid to high 14 second barrier

this was my first time @ sears, but do any of y'all go there???

i know sactown has way faster imports that attend there......

daymit, i wanna run my car, i hit 15.025 stock, 14.8xx with intake and muffler,

now i have some other sheeeit, that i expect to hit low 14s on street tires...

where all the fast imports @?

btw, the street muscle cars were pulling times mainly from 13s to 14s


wtf, isnt that the avg. speed of the sactown imports?

or did i just go during a slow day?

 

Did you see how bad the flag was flapping? It is usually real windy (and A head wind too).

were you the black itr with bronze rims or the CW R?

 

i went aswell. I was that bone stock red 93 hatch. I ran a 18.5 @ 70mph! Not bad for 70bhp! It was fun tho

 

The black R was 00itr0757(Austin).
I don't know about the CW though..

 

I ran yesterday! I drive the silver 95GSR with the CL headlights! I would have to say there wasn't as fast as cars out. I admit I was running slower. My best time was 14.74! I ran a 14.5 before my skunk2 manifold was put on. Most of the faster hondas all motor are gonna be the hybrid ones. The fastest integra all motor is a yellow TYPE R. All we could see was that he had a exhaust, no interior, no belts except the alternator. He also punched a headlight out and rammed it. He has put up a 14.00 flat on street tires. He goes to sears often and he is the man to beat if you want the spotlight. Let me know when you run! I haven't seen a gsr all motor without cams or headwork post up a faster time then me. I like seeing all motor gsr running good numbers. As for all the folks who went to the track and saw me run 15sec times during eliminations was because I was sandbaggin! Still it wasn't a good day for me. As for 2 of my team's DSM's it wasn't either. Our white 1stgen ran 13.8 before his clutch went bye-bye. He ran a 13.4 last month but when it's fixed well be knocking on the 12sec barrier. One of our black ones had his clutch slippin hard as well. It's all good, I brought a second place trophy for my team(TEAM RIG'D)!

i didnt bring my car, i will in august, .....i was with a white 3000gt vr-4 that ran a 13.7 and a blue maro with clear corners that ran 13.9/14.1

what do you consider stock? i know you didn't take it from the dealer and run a 15.025!!! so what did you have done?

Sears Point Raceway: 2000-2001 Schedule of Events

 

That is correct, they are closing down on the 25th, as the construction will begin on the track after the last big event of the year...it sucks, just have a longer off season for more tuning

 

Sears is tough to drive on. My first experience was BAD. Also, the track is at a slope, and it isn't flat.

When I went, there was an ITR running 15.8...so I didn't feel too bad with my 15.6. I couldn't get traction at all....

Everyone seems to run pretty awful at sears..

I'm not going back untill I know I'll hit a 13. couple months...

 

Damn it took that guy 18 seconds to get to 70 mph?!?! How the hell do you get up to speed on the freeway without having to make someone hit there brakes while your getting up to speed?

BTW 15.04 or whatever you ran is a good time for a stock car.

 

Aww that sucks, I've been working this summer and the 25th is when I get my exhuast and maybe a header if I can afford it. Guess I'll have to wait until next summer. Lame.

 

woohoo i beat the fastest all motor type R at sears point!!!! well during that run he ran a 14.6 and i ran a 14.0.... I wish i could go back to sears, but the 14.0 i ran was the last run my shot to **** clutch can take....

As far as fast cars going to sears point anytime soon, i wouldnt expect any fast cars within the next 2 weeks or so...due to the CMI/ NHRA event on august 11-12....everyone is trying to come up during that event. So maybe a week or two before august 11-12 you will see some fast cars at sears that are testing and tuning for the big event.... this is most likely what i will be doing since i am preparing for the big event!!!
