Default Quick! Alternatives to Honda Urea High Temp Grease

As posted in the Integra forum:

Is it okay to use an off the shelf high temp grease instead of the Honda grease for lubricating tranny-related parts (pilot bearing for etc.)? No access to any within a 50 mile radius...I've been to 2 Honda dealerships and they don't have any. I need my car on the road asap...but should I order from a&h and wait until next week or what? Help!

Default Re: Quick! Alternatives to Honda Urea High Temp Grease (Dozed)

I used wheel bearing grease. If you go to the auto parts store they will say "Urea grease ... duuuuhhh....".

No problems so far, and I installed the flywheel and clutch about a month or so ago.
