Default e-brake comes on helppppppp

i got a problem i got a 98 gsr and when i punch my car like up to 7 thousand rpm my e-brake light comes on then i change it to 2nd and it comes on the whole time then third it goes off i dont know whats the problem it just started happening. any help would be nice thanks

First check and replace if needed your brake pads. Second check and refill if necessary your brake reservoir. Do it in that order otherwise you'll have spilled brake fluid next time your replace your brake pads.

checked the brake fluid already but i need to turn my rotors is that the problem?

Could be the sensor too.

I still think it's your brake fluid. It really needs to be TOPPED off.

Well how much fluid is in there? Is it at the top mark or the bottom mark?

Turning your rotors has nothing to do with it.

Have you checked your pads yet?? How much friction material is left on them? Be sure to check both the inboard and outboard pads.

its to the top mark full to be exact. are u sure that the ebrake light comes on when u need some brake fluid it only happens when i punch my car like aroung 7k rpm or so

It is one thing thing that will make the e-brake light come on. Hum, maybe you have a bad cap/sensor. Try re-tightening the cap as it may be loose or something.
