That service might be different than one preformed at other dealers. Why don't you ask the dealer what exactly they do during that service?

hey, i work for dealership, yes we charge 89 bucks for cleaning carbon out of your engine,,,,,,,the reason is so expensive because not of the parts.......just the labor cost is really high,,,,,,,,takes around 35min to do fuel purge, and because 1hr = 120 bucks rate...... sound right?

What exactly is a fuel purge? You shoot compressed air through the lines? What would be needed besides a beer for a diy project on cleaning fuel injectors?

well, fuel purge is basicly clean all the carbon built up in your engine, make your car run more fuel efficient and last longer..........suggest u do every 30k

I would NEVER pay $89 every 30K for cleaning an engine fuel system out. Wanna get the carbon out? simple flooor it every once in a while... you know when you are getting on ther freeway via the entrance ramp. I only get the Fuel system cleaned every 100K
