I have been told that a USDM P72 ecu will NOT work in my JDM Integra Si-VTEC (OBD1) as 94-95 OBD1 integra GSRs had some extra sensors in the engine, and therefore if i were to hook up a USDM ECU it would throw a code as it wont find certain sensors. Can someone confirm or disprove this, or tell me what extra sensors the USDM B18Cs had compared to JDM B18Cs.
i don't see why it wouldn't work. the only thing i think thats diffrent is that the jdm ecu has a speed limiter and the usdm doesn't.

I'm not so sure, i have been told by people selling ECU chips for USDM GSRs that they will NOT work on JDM P72 ECUs..i have also heard EVAP sensor mentioned, i dont think my motor has one, do GSRs have that sensor?
I think the main reason the chips won't work, is because the JDM ECUs are all surface mount, not through hole like the USDM. So the chips won't physically fit.
