I cant feel vtec please help
Here is my car 91 STD Hatchback.
Stock everything height muffler piping sock height..
Expect it has a OBD1 b16a SIR II JDM with 14s in front and 13s at the back
.
I was wondering I don't feel any Pull or vtec on my car but I feel the speed climb..
Is their something wrong it’s not throwing any codes my engine is running good.

check your oil, make sure your speedo is working, if you have to, run a positive wire from battery to vtec solenoid and make sure you hear a clicking noise, if you hear it it means your solenoid is functioning correctly, check to make sure no loose wires, and check oil again, oil is usually number one reason vtec wont kick on

If you are revving it to 9k then you have vtec and a not so stock b16. A stock b16a will pull hard till 7600, which is peak power, and continue to pull but slowly lose power till 8200 the stock fuel cut off point, vtec doesnt really hit all that hard in comparison to toyotas vvt-i, so if you car is running like you say everything should be fine.
