I'm sure any muffler shop will have resonators. As far as getting good quality ones, I'm not sure.

Stainless will outlast your car. It doesn't rain much in Vallejo does it? You'll be fine if you get aluminized.

yeah we dont charge for the difference. i dont dittle over pennies
but it does depend on what you order, if you read the discription: we will send the longest available in that material you order. sometimes, we have ppl who want super long but then want SS. some of the extra long ones are only done in aluminized. i try to match your length and material up best as i can!

ok... so can i get a 22" stainless steel 2.25" or 2.5" resonator? which would be a better choice to get for 2.36" piping? i'm ready to order but can't decide which one is best

What material is the 2.36" tubing you have? What guage (thickness) is it? I'm guessing it's 16g which is 0.065" thick. If that is the case then the ID of the 2.36" tubing will be 2.36-(2*0.065")=2.23". Resonator in/outlets are measured at the ID (inner diameter). Therefore get the 2.25" ID resonator to closer match the rest of the tubing. Just expand the tubing to allow slip-fitting.

2.5" ID would be too large, although it would have an ID of 2.37", which would make it easier to slipfit your tubing into.
