Question about converting from obd0 to obd1
Ok well i have a 91 civic si with a B18b swap.. We have it running at obd0 now... I plan on boosting it and i wanna use the Hondata 2b but beings they dont offer a system for the obd0 cars i am gonna upgrade to obd1....
my question is , What all will i need to gather (parts wise) to make a complete converstion from obd0 to obd1 ?
If you are using your Civic Si wire harness, interior and motor, then it is a snap.. Get yourself a OBD-0 - OBD-1 wire harness from someone on HT. Kenji can give you one. A few other people have them too. Then, just plug in an obd-1 ls computer.. Thats all you need. If you changed the dizzy to SiR stuff to go OBD-0 originally, you will need to change them back.. Remember, your Si harness will work with your B-series motor. Someone confirm this
What i am using now is the following.................
My stock 91 si wireharness (engine & interior)
90 Integra obd0 Pr4 distributor
91 Integra obd0 PR4 injectors
91 Integra obd0 PR4 ECu
Thats what i am using at this moment....

Reuse the stock Si engine harness
OBD0 to OBDI jumper harness
92-01 Integra B18A/B nonVTEC distributor (CRV B20B/Z will also work)
92-01 Integra/Civic injectors with no resistor box
92-95 Integra B18A/B OBDI P74/P75 ECU
Extra OBDI or OBDII engine harness plugs to match the parts used (depending on how you rewire the harness or parts used)
You can use either the OBDI or OBDII injectors and distributor simply because the are internally the same and only the plug style is different. Because you will need to rewire your stock engine harness or part used at these points, the use of either OBDI or II will not matter. Just get whatever matching parts and plugs you can pick up the easiest.
