Total cost of h22 into a 92 cx hatchbacK?
I just wanted to know the total cost of h22 into a 92 cx hatchback? Like the custom axles, custom mounts etc.?? Because I plan on getting one because there is no 96-97 ITR engine swaps to be found for 3999.99.
it all depends man.
so far i've spent $7600 on my swap. doing it myself too.
all the new mods, maintancence accessories, etc...
a friend of mine got his done by drt for $6000
it all depends on what you buy.
i bought expensive *** mounts, and expensive axles. as well as some other goodies.
and fawkin osaka sucks i had to buy a new rear mount, linkage, half-shaft and a lot of other **** too.

build a b20 vtec that will bolt right in w/ stock mounts and you'll smoke both those other motors, that and i heard the steering in a hatch w/ an h22 is kind of a pain
I totaled up my parts and it'll be around 5-6 grand for the swap.
$3300 - H22 swap from HMO, with shipping (300), Hasport mounts (490), and LSD (300)
$400 - DSS stage 1 axles (225 hp)
$200 - ITR CAI (estimate)
$400 - Apex'i WS exhaust for 5th gen hatch (estimate)
$350 - ACT clutch
$50 - timing belt
$150 - water pump
$130 - AEM Accord fuel rail
$100 - fuel pump
----------------------------------
$5080 - and thats not all of it. Plus resistor box, misc stuff (oil, hoses, plugs)
You can also get a radiator too, but I'm trying the stock one since I live in a cooler climate. Then there is also suspension (springs - $200)
