whats the worst that could happen
i think that i have a blown head gasket it only smokes when the car is warmed up whats the worst that could happen if i drve on it and will the head gasket that i have in my 1.5 std work in my 1.6 si both are 91 and how hard is it to replace
the head gaskets are the same... but don't re-use a used head gasket. You'll be in for more headaches than what it's worth to just get a new one.
and the worst that can happen.... Engine go boom!
More likely to happen.... warped head.

ya a seized engine, bent valves, warped head, just go to honda and pick up a headgasket for a d16y8 motor and slap it on and your done
Even if you cannot afford a head gasket from the honda dealer at least get one from your local autozone or oreilly's. Cause with a blown head gasket you can get water mixed in your oil wich will cause really bad lubrication and u can seize your engine, spin rod bearings etc. I would stop driving it until you get a new headgasket.
