Prelude specific LSD questions
I have a JDM tranny being installed in my car. Swap should be done soon, fabricating the plate to reinforce the firewall is taking forever.
Is a JDM tranny housing different from a USDM one? If this is the case, what are my options for an LSD in the future?
Anyone know where to buy LSD's for H22 trannies ?

If it'a a JDM M2B4....you have NO future options. Honda made a different casing for it...the LSD is unlike any other of the other ones...it has 14 bolts and is all different sized...you can't even put on a Prodrive final drive...
I have a Euro-R tranny....and that LSD can be replaced with a Cusco, Spoon, Quaife, Kaaz etc etc...

I have an M2A4. Came out of a 4th Gen JDM Prelude, AFAIK
Also, here is something specific I can ask you. Your tranny is EDM right? so isn't Spoon and Cusco JDM? does that mean EDM is the same as JDM?
But then you mentioned Quaife, isn't that USDM? now I am confused. Please assist.

oh....well that should be the same as an M2F4 and all the H22a LSDs should fit fine. Quaife, Kaaz, Cusco, Spoon

dude you are worrying too much about the DMs..........
They were all made in Japan.....a Euro-R is JDM....it was sold in Japan...
Anyways it doesn't matter where they are sold the H-series trannies are all the same differential wise except for the bastard M2B4....

Ok thanks! I was worried about housings being different. Must have been something that came up because of the M2B4 that you mentioned.
