Default 2.2 will be back out again for the 04 model year on the S2k

2.2 in an S200 thats going to be cool.. I know the motors are far different then our H22.. but its cool. http://www.vtec.net/news/news-...03050

makes you wonder why honda isn't using the H22 for other applications, such as the new accord coupes for example. it's easily one of their better powerplants. and i'm sure they can incorporate i-VTEC.

To answer the last comment.... yes the H22 is one of the best Honda motors ever (coming from someone who owned a VTEC Prelude) but the K series 4 cylinders are way more advanced and have a huge amount of potential. In my opinion, more potential than the B or H series motors ever had (once again, an owner of a K20a EP3). Just wait another year or so for the tuners to get a grasp on what the K series can do and you'll be suprised. Just my $.02 even though it has nothing to do with the original topic on me

the k-series responds very well to mods. i just saw the latest turbo or import tuner, forgot which magazine it was, but in the power pages they hooked up a 4 cly. 03 accord with dc sports i/h/e and it gained around 20+ hp if i remembered correctly.
