Default Those that have done Mechanical to Electrical VSS Swap Questions Problems

like it says in the topic, I have just swapped my mechanical VSS (92 Integra LS) to a (1st Gen B16) VSS I think and my cluster is from a 95 Integra LS, and I noticed that the speedo runs a little faster than it should. I paced with a friend of mine on the freeway and he was doing 70, while mine said 79 or so, Its not too much a concern, but annoying,

Is it because the VSS signal goes to the cluster first and then to the ECU, would that make a difference

Anything kind of tips would help out

thanks
