GSR makes a new sweet noise
Oh boy my GSR is making a new noise let me tell you guys about it, i'm really excited
. It kinda sounds like fingernails being scraped down a chalkboard and its coming from my passenger side wheel well somewhere. The sound sticks around for a while and sometimes goes away when im braking or i hold the wheel straight. Any thoughts on this one?

well since you're not hearing it when you're braking, im gonna assume that its the same problem i had. it sounds like the warning strip on the brake is rubbing on the inside of your wheel. check your brakepads, and if theyre ok, bend the warning strip a little inward, and i can almost guarantee that's what it is. stupid me thought it was a wheel bearing startin to go...
im not too sure exactly where the brake warning stip is..i'll check it out tommorow but you said its probably rubbing on my actual wheel itself? Thanks a bunch.
well i would have never suspected it to be that, but thats what it turned out to be on my rex, and yeah, the brake warning strip was rubbing on the physical inside of the wheel. weird...
the indicator bar on a brake pad .. from my experience .. (dodge caravans) is a little metal tab off teh break that scratches the router when your brakes are worn out .. some tiems both do it at the same time other times one side goes faster then the other... just look for a tab and i hope you dont have a groove like i did and have to replace the router not too hard just $$ i dont have
