OBD0-OBD1 home made converter
Well I am going to try this but I wanted to see if anyone else has: I am going to convert from my stock harness and I pulled the ECU plugs out of an OBD-0 ECU and Im going to sodder an OBD-1 plugs with the corresponding wires on the OBD0 plugs. This is so I can put the Vtec head on my car and then turbo charge it. I am still looking for the wiring diagrams, but I just wanted to know if this would work.
Drop me an email if you need any help. IMO, you don't need to worry about O2 sensor or injectors.
I run a 1K resistor across the heater circuit to fool the ECU; it works just like it's supposed to after an extra 3-4 minutes to warm up the O2 sensor the old fashion way with hot exhaust gas.
Since you are already equipped with a resistor box for your current low impedance injectors... close enough. The diff between saturated and peak and hold injectors will cause your mixture to migrate a touch, mostly at idle, but it works fine. If you're doing this conversion because you plan to run something like Hondata or Uberchips tuner for boost in the future, then you can adjust all you want so the tune is dead on.
