I hope not. Jag tried that for many years. What a PITA. I never want to hear the phrase again, "Sorry, I gotta go synch my carbs again on my car..."

I hope this car weights sub 1000lbs or you're going to be hating life driving it around. Even if you get a big liter bike motor there is going to be zero torque to move it low and mid range.

like i said its been done before

It may very well have been done before - I just don't think you can get this half-baked idea to work.
You want to fit a rack of carbs off a four cylinder bike onto a car engine right? First off what is the point? Just so it looks cool like the individual throttle bodies you see on old JDM cars? I highly doubt you will be making any extra power using a set of motorcycle carbs on an engine designed for fuel injection. It is hard enough to sync and tune a set of carbs that's on the right engine, let alone a set of motorcycle carbs on a car engine. Secondly your first step is to figure out what kind of carb you want and at least try to get something that might be compatable - don't just post saying you want to buy some parts off some bike to fit on some other car. At the very least get the name of the parts that you want to buy right
I am all for fabrication and DIY and experimenting with different set-ups, but there should at least be a point beyond lookin cool. If you get this idea to work post some pics - I'd love you to prove me wrong.

whats so wrong about individual throttle bodies from a CBR or suzuki...there is vagueness for a reason, because im fabbing them, and it doesnt mater whether you use CBR or suzuki carbs. yes it is hard to tune them, but its also hard to tune ITBs by TWM or Toda...ive seen it done many times before, maybe if you researched a little before you make judgemental and idiotic posts. what is the point? just like ITBs, to have increased air flow to the engine on a crucially built NA motor. i have TWMs, but want to do this for fun just to see how they compare. and no theyre not only on old "JDM" cars, they come on recent model corollas, and skylines, which are BTW turbo ITBs
anything can be done, its called fabrication and thats what we do isnt it?
who, or where did you get the idea i want to "look cool" that is no such reason as these will look crappy and ghetto under my hood, because im not making a comparable product to an aftermarket manufacturer. ill post some pics in a minute to prove you wrong

check what this guy was selling https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=458142
thats the corolla example.
from this thread: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=391378
thanks....and by the way, i wont be utilizing the carb injection, only using them to operate air flow, i am still utilizing fuel injection, but "converting" the carbs to ITBs

I understand what you're doing, and I know it works. I just think the money and time is better spent somewhere else (like flowmapping and portting a normal intake and head).

no, into the machined part of te fuel injected b16 intake manifold im using, then put the carbs a little upstream, but like i said, arent some bikes fuel injected, i will take individual TBs from thos too.

Yeah they are, my only concern would be the amount of fuel the injectors are rated at, and the fact that you might not be able to bore it out and put a bigger bung in it.
Have you looked into a CBR1100XX setup? I think it was '99 and up that switch to FI (might be '98). Those dump some serious gas, and have individual throttle bodies.
Maybe if you start flipping through schematics at http://www.bikebandit.com you could come up with something?
That's all I can think of off the top of my head. Too sleepy.

im using the runners from a b16 and the TBs from the bike. ill look there, bu i will be using 370cc injectors, which are more than enough for most all motor setups
EDIT: hrm... dont understand why fuel injecting a Carb..... gets rid of the whole point of using a carb.
btw, thoes are probably a Solex Carb up in that pic, which is not as good as other Slide carbs like Keihin FCR and the one by Mikuni (which are the ones on motorcycles)
