Alright. I'm changing my brake pads and I see this little package of black goo that came in the box and I assume it's anti-brake squeal stuff...right?

 

that is what it is... toss it in the trash.

my oe pads don't make any noise at all... the front metal strips are brown from rust and the g00 has long since gone.

apply if you would like... but I think the mess is not worth it.

will that anti sqeal stuff ....stop the clicking that comes from my front brake calipers though ....mine click all the time ...

squeaking brakes are c00, esp when doing light braking in front of the ricers at Starbucks and make them think your chit is broke
