which one is better.. and is the old 97 and back itr jdm tranny.. any better than the gsr since the final drive is the same? what is the best tranny to get jdm.. and why? and how can the usdm itr tranny be better than usdm gsr tranny if the final drive is the same..
please help i am trying to find a tranny that will help my 1.4 mile... and get better traction.. and possible reduce wheel hop... help please

 

for the jdm trannies, the itr is close gears and the ctr is even closer gears. and as for why the usdm itr tranny better then the gsr is cause the overall closer gearings+lsd.

 

98+ JDM ITR will have the highest FD at 4.785 plus LSD
CTR is always 4.40 with LSD
USDM ITR is better than GSR due to shorter gears (all except 1st) and LSD

 

USDM ITR has LSD? .. what years? .. I didnt think they did.. proof?

Go b16a tranny and put a quaife lsd in it, you will have the same gears and a better lsd then OEM ITR for less money.

 

I'm thiknknig I might have a deal on a USDM type R tranny right now.. btw depending on what I do ... I'll look but .. if someone is quicker than I at finding it..
