i finally got the new clutch & flywheel in, & im getting the new tranny tonight. I was curious tohow i should break in the clutch. Some people say baby it for 500 miles, or 300 miles. others say that since its a non-organic, rev it to 8k & drop the clutch.

i dont know!
what do i do?

its kinda hard to break in a 6 puck. my bro and i have 4 pucks, and its impossible to break that those in...no matter what, SLAM!, it grabs.
I say Rev to 8k, and drop the clutch

 

pucked type discs dont need to be broken in

 

so i can just drive on it & not worry about anything?

But i heard if your boosting its a good idea to break it in a little. but i dont think you have to break it in. It says on your instructions that i doesnt have to broken in

 

I just drove up my 500 miles, I broke in my Action stage 2 KS that way... but thats a sprung clutch, not puck. Kevlar
