Also my power windows are really rackety and un smooth when I open and close them, I want them to be smooth like my friend 96 ls???? Is there anything I could do about that? Oh, I wanted to ask you guys if you knew how to get smoke film off of windows? I suggest you learn to spell first.
Second, you need to clean the tracks and not slam your doors. Honda's and Acura's have very tight tolerances, and it's not necessary to slam the door to close it.
As for the smoker film, use something strong like simple green and a scouring pad (not metal) to remove all the crap on the windows.

I tried all kinds of cleaners, even some industrial stuff that is ment to take paint overspray off windows after you paint them!!! A guy I work with said I should try OxyClean. Think that would work?
Hey BLK94RS,
Are you sure the film on your windows is smoke film?? I've had the same problem ... but its due to the protectant you use on the interior. When the car warms up (ie in the sun) the crap evaporates of the dash or wherever and condenses on the windows. Thats why it comes back after you've washed the windows. Horrible **** ... and a real pain when your drivin into the sun. All I can suggest is dont use protectant on the dash ... or at least water it down a bit. Hope this helps.
