Need more inches!

Has anyone bored or stroked a H23 to 2.5L? Results/Conclusions/Opinions?

I have yet to find any info, which surprises me since 2.5L conversions are so popular on WRX's.
I only ask cause I want to know what I can do before going turbo...

an 89mm bore is a 2.4L on an H23. Don't think you'd want to go much bigger then that.

member 2point6 has a 2.44l displacement, that's the biggest one i've heard of

I believe it was 2.6 liters at one point and he had reliability issues... (partly due to the engine builders)

2.5 is the largest i have heard of. it was a lude from an audio shop in kentucky or tenn. like DB audio or something like that. may want to look them up and contact them.
