ECU question

Default ECU question

I need to pass emission and currently have kenjis p28 in my car but....will a 1993 dohc stock intergra ECU fit in my car and work just so i can use that to pass? If not, what other models will fit in my car so i can pass the test? Thanks!

If you have a B16a/b or a B18c5, it should work. Anything with a PR3 head is my guess.

Yes, you can use your 1993 DOHC ECU and it should pass.

If the ref in your state is very strict and looks at the ECU (highly unlikely) then it would fail the visual.

As long as your car is not throwing codes and passes the sniff test you should be fine.

Or you can use your stock ECU or any other '92-'95 DOHC VTEC ECU (assuming you are using your OBD2 to OBD1 ECU conversion harness) and it should pass.
