Need to know if the JDM YS1 transmission is gonna be ok for me. i know u want a short geared transmission for turbod cars, but was wondering if this is to short? gonna make 500whp..run a 26x10x15 slick...and redline roughly around 9krpm. lookin to run a high 10. (Quaiffe w/o a doubt)

i personaly think its a bit short, but for what ur trying to do i would say it will work quite well

 

Why not find plug your tire size and gear ratio's into a calculator to see where you will be going through the traps at. Just as long as you dont need to shift into 5th you should be ok. 26" tall slicks you probably wont.

 

that tranny is money!
